Full-Time Technical Services Consultant – Haar


Job Description

The PSO team is dedicated to the success of the customer and their virtualization strategy and implementation. It ensures that Quadient’s customers successfully implement their solutions.

A Technical Services Consultant influences the success of each assignedQuadient production environment at customer side by providing Operational Management for the assignedQuadient production environments. Each Consultant is a vital link between the customer andQuadient.
Essential requirements for a Technical Services Consultant:
• Bachelor’s Degree in business administration, engineering, math, economics, computer science or other relevant field or High School with proven 3 years’ experience in IT industry. MBA or Master’s degree is preferred.
• At least 2 years’ practical experience in providing Operational Management to Enterprise System production environments
• Work out of the Quadient office in Haar (close to Munich, Germany) on a daily basis
• Understanding of Quadient’s products, solutions and applications
• Fluent spoken and written German and English
• Relevant industry certifications (i.e., CISSP, CCNA, MCP, MCSE, Security+, Network+)
• Basic knowledge of scripting
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Customer care skills
• High-energy, collaborative personal style
• Ability to manage multiple incidences simultaneously
• Experience with enterprise architecture, applications and software
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
A Technical Services Consultant is responsible for the following tasks:
• Run and maintain assigned customer based Quadient production environments by providing operational management on a daily basis
• Collaborate with, and acting as an interface between the customer, their potential hosting provider and the Quadient CSO department in case of any incident within the Quadient solution
• Updating licenses and keeping record of license protocols
• Perform remote and on-site installations and patches of the Quadient solution
• Supporting customers and potential hosting providers within the confines of help desk “Tier 1” responsibilities
• Fulfilling the defined SLA for response times
