Job Description

Visual Meta GmbH is an innovative internet company based in the heart of Berlin, which has grown rapidly since being founded in 2009. In 2011 our company has been taken over by the Axel Springer concern.

We run shopping platforms named LadenZeile and ShopAlike worldwide, offering fashion, furniture and a variety of other products to our users. Our service is used by thousands of daily visitors and an ever-increasing number of partner shops.

Now we are looking for a motivated colleague (m/f) for our international sales team to support and promote the expansion of our shopping portal www.shopalike.se as soon as possible.

Your profile:
• First proven experience in sales with the focus on customer acquisition, ideally gained in a B2B focused e-commerce company
• Fluent in spoken and written Swedish and good English skills
• Entrepreneurial mindset and a good understanding of a sales organisation
• Love being on the phone and passionate about turning potential customers into partners
• Proactive, motivated and ambitious individual with strong negotiation skills
• Good knowledge of Excel, Word and Power Point, ideally first experience with a CRM tool
• Excellent communication skills, written and verbally, as well as a professional and customer-oriented personality
• Structured, organized and an analytical mindset

Your responsibilities:
• Playing a key role in the further development of our Swedish platform
• Generating and maintaining a qualified database of potential sales leads
• Acquiring new Swedish partner shops
• Negotiating and preparing contracts
• Updating and maintaining our CRM database
• Laying the basis for building long term relationships with partner shops and customer relationship management
• Analyzing the market and the competition
• Working closely with other sales managers and departments such as Quality, Finance, Marketing and IT
