Job Description

PressMatrix is an internationally active technology start-up right at the cutting edge of the Digital Publishing arena.

From our Berlin headquarters, we develop and operate a smart publishing and distribution platform to enable publishers to market their existing print content via a dedicated, branded application for iPad, Android and other tablets. Through our innovative white-labeled service an application is easily generated within minutes. PressMatrix takes care of everything, leaving the publisher to focus on what they are best at – producing digital magazine content that updates the market with the latest news.

We are an exciting and dynamic company with ambitious goals. Since our launch in 2011, we’ve grown enormously and are currently working on successfully establishing our product in further international markets and segments. Therefore we are looking for energetic, high-flying and fun people who enjoy moving things forward and aren’t scared of taking on a lot of responsibility quickly.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Place outbound calls to potential B2B clients in the publishers marketplace
  • Explain products and services in a consultative manner and produce product information and sales pitch materials
  • Manage bid preparation and conduct tracking utilizing Salesforce.com
  • Research and identify qualified potential new clients and sales opportunities

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Relevant prior experience in a goal-oriented sales environment, ideally in the B2B segment
  • High online affinity and the ability to develop sales relationships with clients
  • Enjoy telephone interaction and bring strong communication skills as well as a positive attitude and friendly demeanor
  • High level of self-motivation and an independent, structured and result-oriented work ethic
  • Fluent in French, Italian or/and Russian (native speaker preferred) and good understanding of English or German
