The Product Manager will focus on planning and directing new products from “business opportunity” to “revenue ready” with a penchant for quality, time-to-market and cost. Beginning with a project objective, the Product Manager will work will work cross-functionally to oversee projects through development to operational excellence.

This pivotal role oversees the day-to-day activity of managing products from cradle to grave. The Product Manager role will help maintain the product data for all OEM products, including reporting, and coordinate the communication of our product roadmap to internal and external partners.

The Product Manager will also serve as Product Champion to the Otter Product EMEA Sales team to align strategies between the Key Accounts & Otter Products to coordinate and execute joint sell-in programs and increase sales and the value of our partnerships. Furthermore, Product Manager will coordinate with the wider Marketing Teams to develop product-specific marketing materials to further maximize value. Initial focus of this role will be within the Enterprise Roadmap; however this role may develop into other channels over time.


-Manage the development and launch of new products and/or series within the enterprise segment
-Successfully get Enterprise products to market meeting Otter time and quality requirements
-Maintain project structure and schedules for enterprise product development projects from product concept through production for the EMEA region
-Provide overall project direction to cross-functional project team including plan, schedule, conduct and co-ordinate a wide variety of tasks
-Work cross-departmentally and with external vendors and suppliers to ensure production is kept on schedule to meet established timelines
-Work cross-functionally to bridge the gaps across multiple departments involved with the production of Enterprise products, such as engineering, supply chain, quality and sales
-Track all project issues and resolution of those issues
-Involved in the creation of market requirements documents (MRDs) as a vehicle to communicate requirements to cross functional teams like engineering, marketing, sales and ensure they reflect winning product strategies.
-Maintain and administer our Enterprise Product Roadmap, including capturing all changes and communication of approved versions
-Functions as a central resource within the organization as enterprise product(s) move through their lifecycle, co-ordinating strategies for all lifecycle phases including EOL and replacement of products
-Identify opportunities for innovation and evolution while ensuring the delivery of products that offer unique benefits and superior value to Otter Products customers
-Serve as key point of contact for product-related communications
-Brief the Sales & Marketing team about new products, and partner with wider EMEA sales team to execute joint sell-in programs and increase revenue within our key channel partners
-Ensure voice of the customer feedback (end user and key enterprise channel partners) is integrated in to business strategies and product development plans
-Partner with Operations Teams in managing the external contract supply network including contract manufacturing organisations
-Travel to other offices, design and/or manufacturing facilities as necessary
-Other duties as required


-Master’s Degree (or equivalent) in Engineering, Business or related field required
-Minimum 3 years of product management & project management with focus on consumer products is essential
-Experience working within cross functional team to achieve business goals
-Experience presenting project status presentations to cross-functional and management teams
-Self-starter with entrepreneurial drive and mind-set
-Excellent interpersonal, organizational and time management skills
-Good written and verbal communication, analytical and negotiating skills.
-Proficiency with Microsoft Office required with experience with MS Project or other PM software a plus
-Ability to work in a fast paced, continuously changing environment
-Fluent written and oral English & German. Another EU language would be advantageous
-Willingness to travel internationally
-Based in Munich, Germany
